Une arrivée au Pérou qui s'est très bien passée. Les premiers pas dans un pays que je ne connais pas du tout mais je vais apprendre à m'y familiariser.

La vie ici est complètement différente de ce qu'on peut connaître en Europe. La nourriture est complètement différente (d'ailleurs il va falloir que je m'y habitue : c'est pas gagné...). Les différences sociales sont énormes entre les classes qui ont les moyens et les très très pauvres. L'architecture est nouvelle pour moi mais ça me rappelle un peu l'Espagne. Le mode de vie est aussi différent, comme le fait de se lever quasi tous les jours à 6h du matin et d'être couché à 21-22h (ça aussi il va falloir que je m'y fasse...).

Je suis allé visiter le centre historique de la ville de Lima : c'est vraiment magnifique !

J'ai vu la Plaza de Armas, avec la cathédrale de Lima : superbe place ! Les gens dans la rue sont plutôt d'une nature méfiante, surement parce que la population sort tout juste d'une guerre civile (il y a un peu plus de 20 ans). De plus, quand je me promène dans la rue, je sens bien que des regards se lèvent vers moi, vers ma couleur de peau...

Ici à Lima, c'est la course à l'arnaque vis-à-vis des touristes. Par exemple dans les boutiques, les prix ne sont pas affichés, donc en tant qu'étranger (et donc en tant que touriste...), ils vont essayer de te soustraire le plus d'argent possible... De plus, à l'entrée des musées, il y a les prix pour les enfants, pour les étudiants, pour les adultes... et pour les étrangers ! Et bien sûr ce ne sont pas du tout les mêmes prix...

Mais sinon la vie ici, c'est dépaysant. Les gens qui m'hébergent sont super sympathiques, près à m'aider pour n'importe quoi.

De là où je suis, à La Punta, on peut voir le courant appelé 'El Niño', courant maritime côtier qui cause des dégâts considérables pour la pêche notamment.

Everything is ok for me, I arrived safe in Peru. First steps in a new country and I don't know anything about it. But I will try to familiarize myself with this country.

The life in here is completely different that we know back in Europe. Food is also something completely different (by the way I will have to get used to it : it will take time...). There are so many social differences between classes who earn a lot of money and the really really poor ones. The architecture is also something new for me. It reminds me Spain, a bit. The way of life is also different in here, such waking up almost every morning at 6 o'clock in the morning and to go to bed around 9 or 10 o'clock in the evening (I will have to get used to it...).

I went to visit the historical center of Lima : it is really nice !

I saw the Plaza de Armas, with the Lima cathedral : such an awesome place ! People in the streets are really suspicious, for sure because peruvians are just finishing a civil war (more than 20 years ago). Moreover, when I am walking in the street, I feel some people looking at me, towards my skin, because I'm white...

Here in Lima, people try to get the more they can from tourists. For example, in the shops, you cannot see the prices. SO when you are a foreigner (and so a tourist obviously...), they are going to get from you the more money they can... Moreover, at the museums entrance, there are prices for childrens, for students, for adults... and for foreigners ! And of course that's not the same price...

But despite this, the life here is great. People who are hosting me are really nice, ready to help me with anything.

From where I am, in La Punta, we can see the tide called 'El Niño', which is a maritim tide from the coast and it's making such damages, especially for those who are fishing.
